We offer warranty on a variety of products and services, please see below for the services we’re completing on your yard. All warranties are only valid if the invoice is paid in full for all work completed by Nuterro Solutions Inc.

Failure to follow these guidelines could result in warranties being void.

Landscape Warranty

All Plant Life Including Grass, Plants, Shrubs & Trees Warranty Information

At Nuterro Solutions Inc. we certify that all plants are true to their labels. All quotes are subject to the plants availability based on nursery inventory. Due to time of year, trends and weather conditions, some plants are only available during certain times each year. Substitutions of plants may be made prior to installation at the discretion of Nuterro Solutions Inc.

Due to the fact all of our materials are from other distributors, Nuterro Solutions Inc. cannot guarantee that they are free from weeds. Any soil, sod, seed, mulch and rock areas that acquire weed growth are not covered under our warranty, if weeds do appear in a lawn and are severe; Nuterro Solutions Inc. will look into the matter and at our discretion, may provide a onetime application of weed control, completed by us or another company.

Planted areas such as garden beds, mulched areas, rock areas, are not covered and will not receive any weed control applications as they may kill any plants nearby. Nuterro Solutions Inc. is not responsible for any damage done by animals, disease, insects or weather conditions and general things that are out of our control. Plant Death due to improper watering, human misbehavior, mechanical damage, salt, de-icing, weather, theft or vandalism is not the responsibility of Nuterro Solutions Inc. Nuterro Solutions should be contacted immediately if you notice any changes to a plant or lawns health.

Seed Installation

Due to the nature of seed installation, the overall growth and health of your lawn is in your hands, to ensure it grows properly and flourishes, the customer must follow proper procedure diligently and allow proper time for the seed to grow. Due to this, Nuterro Solutions Inc. will not cover seed installations under any warranty. Our staff are trained to apply proper amounts of seed over each area, if care instructions are followed correctly, the seed will sprout and grow properly. Please follow our grass seed guide for information on proper care and watering procedure. Seed germination typically takes between 1-3 weeks with 5-6 weeks of growth before the first mow.

Sod Install

Due to the nature of sod, it's success is determined by care procedures once it is installed. We do not offer any sod warranty. At the 5 week period, the sod should be well rooted and established enough for it's first mow. At our discretion we may offer a one-time call back within 30 days of installation to address any issues such as patchy areas. Any scenario listed above such as failure to follow proper care and water procedures, any vandalism, animal damage and other causes for damage or lawn death listed above, is the customers' responsibility.

Plant, Shrub and Tree Install

Any sod, plants, shrubs and trees installed, must be watered by the customer named according to proper watering schedule and is not covered under any warranty by Nuterro Solutions. Plant material warranties provided by Suppliers will be honored. Customers that choose to use ‘Mikes’ fertilizers have additional Supplier warranty as per their discretion. Nuterro Solutions Inc. will provide a 6 month, 1 time labour replacement for customers choosing to use ‘Mikes’ fertilizer. Mike’s cannot be sold separately from the plants and must be on the receipt with the purchase of the plants. All plant warranties will be void under any of the following circumstances:

Annuals that are a seasonal plant and will die at the end of each season are not covered under any warranty
Any plant material cut down or removed, prior to our inspection
Plant material found to have died from failure to follow watering, maintenance and care procedures
Plant materials found damaged or dead by insects, disease, animals, acts of vandalism, human misbehavior, mechanical damage, salt, de-icing
Any plant damage by any ‘act of God’ where we cannot control the circumstances ex: drought, flooding, winter burn, wind burn, freezing
Any issues deemed to void warranties by the plant supplier

Mowing

Nuterro Solutions Inc. is not responsible for any underground lines, lighting, irrigation and utility damage that may occur from normal mowing operation. Any damage to the property that may occur from normal mowing will be brought back to it's original condition at the cost of Nuterro Solutions Inc. Nuterro Solutions Inc. is not responsible for damage to fences and property damaged from normal weed wacking and mowing operation. Any sprinkler head that isn’t functioning normally prior to us mowing that may be stuck in the up position will not be covered by Nuterro Solutions Inc. Heads damaged from normal mowing will be analyzed and Nuterro Solutions Inc. may choose to replace it at our expense. All lawns must be clear of debris, toys, animal feces and any materials or objects prior to our arrival on mowing days, damage to such objects are not covered by Nuterro Solutions Inc.

Water Feature Warranty

Ponds, Pondless Waterfalls & Recreation Ponds

We use only the highest quality of water feature products and stand behind our workmanship 100%. Our signature series filters and skimmers come with a manufacturers limited lifetime warranty. Our liners come with a manufacturers 20 year warranty against failure. We cover the pond liner with rocks and boulders for added protection as the liners only deteriorate from the sun's UV rays. This also provides added beauty. Most other products come with a manufacturers 1-5 year limited warranty. The flex PVC pipe we use has been tested at -50 degrees Fahrenheit with no bursts or breakage. Nuterro Solutions Inc. offers a 2 year limited labour warranty on all ponds and water features installed by Nuterro Solutions Inc. Nuterro Solutions Inc. uses only premium Aquascape products on our ponds, Aquascape has a manufacturers warranty on most of its products, in the event that an Aquascape product is malfunctioning, Nuterro Solutions Inc. will cover the labour & installation to replace the part that is covered under warranty during the initial 2 year period. Once this period is over, only labour will be charged until the Aquascape manufacturer warranty expires. Any part found to be not functioning for reasons outside of normal use will void all warranty and result in the product and labour not being covered.

They are:

Products that are found to have been damaged by animals, insects, rodents, vandalism, human misbehavior, machine damage
Products damaged from improper use or from failure to close the system properly for the winter
Products not stored properly in the winter or products that have been frozen Ex: all electrical equipment (excluding the pond liner, skimmer, biofalls and plumbing) Electrical equipment is to be brought indoors for the winter
Maintenance neglect - failure to complete recommended maintenance and winterization
Pumps that have been run dry without water or frozen
Liners that have been punctured

Any boulders that are moved out of place from horse play or human misbehavior will not be covered and must be repositioned at the cost of the owner.

Water Fountains

Nuterro Solutions Inc. offers a 2 year limited labour warranty on all fountain features. Nuterro Solutions Inc. uses premium Aquascape products on our water fountains. Aquascape has warranty on most of its products, in the event that an Aquascape product is malfunctioning, Nuterro Solutions Inc. will cover the labour & installation to replace or fix the part within the 2 year period on all products covered under the Aquascape warranty. Any part found to be not functioning for reasons outside of normal use will result in the product and labour not being covered. They are:

Products that are found to have been damaged by animals, insects, rodents, vandalism, human misbehavior, machine damage
Products damaged from improper use or from failure to close the system properly for the winter
Products not stored properly in the winter or products that have been frozen Ex: all electrical equipment (excluding the liner, Aquablox, reservoir, and plumbing)
Maintenance neglect
Pumps that have been run dry without water or frozen
Liners that have been punctured

Products that offer manufacturers warranty are not covered by Nuterro Solutions Inc and replacement is solely at the discretion of Aquascape Inc. (product manufacturer)

Irrigation systems

Pipe, plumbing, poly, fittings

Nuterro Solutions Inc. offers a limited warranty on every system installation as follows. All plumbing, poly, fittings, and pipes offer a 3 year parts and labour limited warranty. Each fall during this period, an irrigation company must blow out and shut down the system. This warranty is void in the circumstances as follows:

Any pipe and fitting that is crushed, cut or damaged by digging, equipment rodents, insects, vandalism, human misbehavior, animals or acts of God
Any pipe, plumbing and fitting that is damaged from improper fall shut down or spring start up
Any fall shut down not completed by a professional irrigation installer (to claim a warranty, proof of service must be presented)

Controllers

Indoor Controllers come with a 2 year limited liability labour warranty. Product warranty will be issued at the discretion of the controller manufacturer. Outdoor Controllers come with a 1 year limited liability labour warranty. Product warranty will be issued at the discretion of the controller manufacturer. These warranty's will be void under the following circumstances:

Controllers damaged from animals, rodents, insects, vandalism or human misbehavior or acts of God
Water damage on controllers that aren’t specifically for outdoor use
Damage from use from someone other than a professional irrigation company

Heads

Irrigation heads have a 6 month, 1 time replacement warranty. If a head isn’t functioning properly, please call us, we’ll diagnose the problem. These warranty's will be void under the following circumstances:

Heads damaged from animals, rodents, insects, vandalism or human misbehavior or acts of God

Wiring, Valves & Valve Boxes

Wiring, Valves and valve boxes offer a 2 year limited liability labour warranty. This warranty is void in the circumstances as follows:

Any pipe and fitting that is crushed, cut or damaged by digging, equipment, rodents, insects, vandalism, human misbehavior, animals or acts of God
Any valve or wiring that is damaged from improper fall shut down or start up
Any fall shut down not completed by a professional irrigation installer

Product warranty will be issued at the discretion of the manufacturer.

Hardscapes

Patios - Includes patios, walkways, driveways and steps

Surface & Grade: Nuterro Solutions Inc. guarantees our patios for 5 years from the installation date that pavers will not chip or crack and paver surface shall be true to grade and shall not vary in excess of one quarter of an inch from the original design, when tested with a 10 ft board or laser level at any location on the surface.

Weeds: Nuterro Solutions Inc. will warranty weeds growing in paver joints for 2 years, this coverage is for weed breakouts and does not include a few sparse weeds growing. If Nuterro Solutions Inc. finds a joint failure, we will provide the pressure washing and re-sanding of the surfaces affected within the 2 years. This warranty does not cover grass growing from seed germination of overseeding or installing a lawn. All warranty on hardscapes are void under the following circumstances:

Damage is caused by vandalism, human misbehavior, animals, rodents, insects, machinery, digging within 3 feet of the hardscape, acts of God
Changes to the grade or surface surrounding the hardscape
Damage outside of our control ex: animals, insects, floods, acts of God
Damage caused from de-icing agents ex: salt
Changes to the design or intended use ex: Adding a support beam, stairs or structure onto the patio
Changes to the grade or surface surrounding the structure

Retaining walls

Nuterro Solutions Inc. guarantees our retaining walls for 3 years from the installation date that stone will not chip or crack and surface shall be true to grade and shall not vary in excess of one quarter of an inch from the original design. All warranty on retaining walls are void under the following circumstances:

Damage is caused by vandalism, human misbehavior, animals, rodents, insects, machinery, digging within 3 feet of the retaining wall
Changes to the grade or surface surrounding the retaining wall
Damage outside of our control ex: animals, floods, acts of God
Damage caused from de-icing, insecticides, pesticides or any other agents
Changes to intended design ex: adding boulders or structures on top
Changes to the grade or surface surrounding the structure

Other retaining wall and patio Information

Nuterro Solutions Inc. cannot guarantee the exact paver or retaining wall stone colour as pictured in any images or advertising. Due to the fact there are different batches made by each manufacturer, no two batches are identical. Nuterro Solutions Inc. does not cover ‘Efflorescence’ which is a natural occurring process in concrete products that appears in the form of white powder or film on pavement surfaces.

Lighting & Sound Systems

Nuterro Solutions Inc. warranties all lighting and sound system labour for 2 years. Product warranty will be dependent on the manufacturer’s warranty and claims will be determined at their discretion.

This warranty is void under under the following circumstances:

Damage from animals, rodents, insects, vandalism, human misbehavior, physical damage
Acts of God such as floods, water damage, lightning
Improper Use or neglect

Decks, Fences, Sheds, Gazebos, Privacy Screens & Pergolas

Nuterro Solutions Inc. Deck Installations (All deck installations with deck add-ons)

Nuterro Solutions Inc. deck installations carry a 5 year workmanship limited liability warranty on any component directly related to the installation by Nuterro Solutions Inc. We also offer a 5 year no movement warranty on screw piles 8ft or longer. We do not warranty material outside of any provided manufacturers warranty, these warranties are honored at their discretion.

PVC Decking Material Warranty

We use Wolf PVC Products! As such, we can help provide you with one of the best warranties available on the Canadian market!

Wolf PVC Serenity decking comes with a 50 Year limited lifetime manufacturer's stain and fade guarantee! (Wolf Serenity decking only)

Wolf also offers a 5 year full replacement warranty that covers labour and materials.

Composite Decking Material Warranty

We use Trex Enhance decking for our composite deck installations.

Trex composite decking comes with a 25 year limited lifetime manufacturer's stain and fade guarantee.

Duradek Vinyl Membrane

Duradek offers a 10 year manufacturer's waterproofing warranty on their 60mil vinyl. This guarantees repair or replacement of any portion of vinyl during that time. They also offer a 5 year appearance warranty, this covers excess discoloration above the natural aging of vinyl.

Star railings come with a 20 year lifetime warranty on powder coated finishes and a 20 year lifetime warranty on all aluminum components.

Metal Structures

Nuterro Solutions Inc. warranties metal decks and structures with a 5 year limited liability labour warranty from the installation date. We do not warranty material outside of any provided manufacturers warranty.

Treated Wood Fences & Structures

Nuterro Solutions Inc. treated wood fences and structures carry a 3 year craftsmanship limited liability labour warranty. We do not warranty materials outside of any provided manufacturers warranty.

**Wood, PVC, vinyl, composite and metal structure warranties exclude the following:

Damage is caused by vandalism, human misbehavior, animals, rodents, insects, machinery, digging within 3 feet of the structure
Changes to the grade or surface surrounding the structure
Damage outside of our control ex: floods, extreme winds, insects, animals, rodents, acts of God
Damage caused from misuse or neglect
Twisting, shrinking or warping of wood
Rust on metal products
Shrinking or expansion of joints from temperature changes

Turf Installations

(Fake Grass)

We install turf surfaces similar to patios, the base is guaranteed not to shift or move for 1 year after the installation date. A 1 year labour warranty is included with all turf installations. We do not warranty material outside of the provided manufacturers warranty.

This warranty excludes the following:

Damage is caused by vandalism, human misbehavior, animals, rodents, insects, machinery, digging within 3 feet of the turf
Changes to the grade or surface surrounding the turf
Damage outside of our control ex: floods, extreme winds, acts of God
Damage caused from misuse or neglect

Services not listed on our warranty page, are not covered under any warranty and will not be replaced, if issues on such materials or services arise, we do however recommend you let us know and we will take appropriate action to look into the matter. Please note, Nuterro Solutions Inc. reserves the right to change, alter and abolish any of our warranties at any time, without notice.
